This open-air museum was established in 1968. It shows examples of wooden constructions which were collected from Western Małopolska area and made available for visitors. These days it has an area of 5.3 ha, where you can see 25 valuable monuments of wooden construction, not counting the small architecture. This open-air museum was established in 1968. It shows examples of wooden constructions which were collected from Western Małopolska area and made available for visitors. These days it has an area of 5.3 ha, where you can see 25 valuable monuments of wooden construction, not counting the small architecture. There are peasant farms with orchards and flower gardens, objects related to rural handicraft production, a church with a bell tower, a small-town complex and other examples of the architecture. The oldest object in the museum is the church from Ryczów from 1623, with the original equipment acquired along with the object. The most impressive object is Dwór z Drogini from 1730, reconstructed in 2002-2006. Apart from the permanent exhibition of the interiors of a typical Polish mansion, the building also has a conference and concert function and houses the Museum administration.
