Cossack Fortress
This is a fortification building of the Cossacks, which carried guard service on the borders of Cossacks and state territories.
The fortress is surrounded by a moat 6 m wide, before which pointed oak piles are installed, above the moat rises an earth shaft. A shaft with loopholes was installed on the shaft. Above the gate is the Watchtower.
Inside, there is a two-story building: a stable and housing for Cossacks.
To the left of the fortress, on the hill, is a Cossack watchtower lighthouse. A number of such lighthouses created a distinctive alert system for approaching the enemy.
Windmills
There are 15 windmills that served as mills for grinding grain.
Windmills were driven by windmills mechanisms under the influence of wind. By technical solution, they were divided into two types: columnar and tent ("Dutch").
The construction of the columnar windmill, together with the mechanisms for grinding grain, shaft and wings, rotates around a massive pillar, deeply buried or fixed on a stable cross.
The construction of the marquee remains fixed, only the marquee (roof) of the structure with wings and shaft returns. The building - octagonal or circular in plan - narrows upward, giving stability to the mill.
Windmills are 4-, 6- and 8-wing.
