The castle was built in the XVI century as a residence of Ostrozhsky dukes family together with town of Starokonstantyniv. In next century the town and the castle were taken by kozaks of Khmelnitsky and heavily destroyed. During the 2nd World War the castle again had some damages. The castle is situated on 2 rivers’ banks and now it is museum of the town.
