Rara Avis means rare bird. This is two-level waterfall with a refreshing swimming hole at the bottom. It is a part of Rara Avis Rainforest Lodge & Reserve http://www.rara-avis.com/ and quite remote from normal roads, so getting here would be a challenge. Staying there is about $ 90 per person per night but includes 3 times meal with traditional local food and guided walk tour in the rainforest reserve with their guide.
