Betina Cave is a pebble beach in Dubrovnik, located in a cave between the villa Šeherezada and the beach of Gjivovici. The beach was named after the great Dubrovnik scientist Marina Getaldić, who performed various optical experiments and researches in the cave whore nickname was Bete. The beach cannot be reached by land and only by the sea. As the cave is facing the southeastern side, there is no sunlight in the afternoon, so it is colder than indoor with air conditioning. Closest place to get there is the beach of Gjivovici, where you can take canoe to the caves accompanied by guides....

For this reasons the well-known Croatian tennis player and winner of the Wimbledon Goran Ivanišević, came here with his family. There are many pigeon nests in the cave and visitors can see small pigeons.
