The famous "Brela Stone" lies on the west side of the beach. This is the symbol of the Brela which you can often see on postcards from Brela and from Croatia in general. This submerged rock in the sea is sprinkled with pine trees, they grow out of bare stone. Alpine pine is well suited for periods of drought, high temperatures and salty soils. Thanks to the ability to indent even in bare stone and salt resistance, it is the best shade guarantor for resting on the seafront. Not only do they smell fragrant, but they also have antiseptic properties. I would not reccomend to come here in a hot season. The beach will be extremely crowded. Also, many people would not really enjoy this beach without aquashoes. I have to mention that I personally was more impressed with nearby beaches around Liskamen rock: Liskamen and Podrace.
