Ca. 700 meters further east - where the auto company Dyssehøj is today - lay there until approx. 1880 a similar nozzle, and opposite the Årslev nozzle lay a slightly younger stone coffin , which was excavated in 1822 by Colonel Julius Høegh-Guldberg ( 1779 - 1861) and now, except for a slight elevation, has completely disappeared. At the time the Årslev nozzle was constructed, the area where Brabrand Sø and Årslev Engsø are located today was a shallow fjord arm from the Kattegat .
