There are six prehistoric monuments in this forest, five dolmens and a small passage grave. The forest is part of the pilot project "Kongernes Nordsjælland National Park". Many of the curb stone curbs and several capstones are in situ, and bowls are on several of the capstones.
The most intact megalithic plants of the funnel beaker culture were created between 3500 and 2800 BC. Neolithic monuments are an expression of the culture and ideology of Neolithic societies. Their formation and function are considered indicators of social development.
