The Pigeon Rock is a famous Lebanese tourist attraction close to the beach of the Raouche area in the West Beirut. The rock consists of two massive rocks, one of which is larger than the second, and the large is the middle hollow rock. The Pigeon Rock is approximately 70 meters high. Some geologists assume that these rocks appeared due to several strong earthquakes that struck the West Beirut Sea in the thirteenth century , where these earthquakes led to the elimination of many inhabited islands at that time and many rocks appeared, including the Raouche Rock.
