Kongens utsikt (King's view) is located west of Kleivstua on a mountain plateau approx. 400 meters above Tyrifjorden / Steinsfjorden. The place is known for its views of much of Hole and Ringerike. It has been named after King Karl Johan who visited the place in 1832.
The platform here was built three years later, but was demolished and rebuilt in stone - with railings and benches - in 1880.
