Unrecognized are the largest outdoor realization of Magdalena Abakanowicz. They consist of 112 anthropomorphic figures over two meters high, made of cast iron and forming a seemingly chaotic group among the surrounding lawn. Silhouettes are devoid of heads and give the impression of walking in different directions. According to the Poznań photographer Maciej Kulesza, the characters presented by the author "talk about the phenomenon of life, raise the problems of dignity, courage, survival, describe the dramatic presence of man in the all-powerful political and technical space of the present world. They are a crowd of myths, emerge from the surrounding nature, from a clump of trees, earth, and clouds. Each of them hides a different trace of the spine in the middle, goes in a different direction". The sculptures were installed and unveiled in 2002. Figures were made at the Iron Foundry in Śrem in 2001-2002.
