Trains of the Orava Forest Railway leave for their sightseeing ride from the valley station Tanečník. It is located near the village of Oravská Lesná, with which it is connected by a side asphalt road of approximately 6 km. The Tanečník station offers free parking and railway facilities - depot for locomotives and wagons, sale of tickets, souvenirs, exposition documenting the life of the forest track, playground and aviary with peacocks.
After purchasing the train tickets, you can settle in the motor sink or panoramic wagons that are being driven by the locomotive. The line in the length of 3 kilometers to the top station Sedlo Beskyd at an altitude of 935 meters above sea level. m. the train passes in about 15-20 minutes. Here, take a break, during which you can climb the observation tower near the station and look around the beautiful panorama of Orava nature. The Goral log cabin is also open to you.
