The distance of Gostilja from Belgrade is 250 km. All roads leading to the waterfall are marked with signposts and guidelines. The waterfall is located on Gostiljski stream, which is also called Vrelo. Downstream of the waterfall, the stream builds a number of smaller waterfalls, rapids and whirlpools all the way to the mouth of the river Katušnica. 450-meter-long trails connect the area around the waterfall. In the immediate vicinity there is a watermill mill, two wooden bridges over the river Katušnica and a newly built swimming pool.
