The churche is dated to1799. This small church was sufficient for the population of the village at that time. It is a Lemko type with octagonal Byzantine domes, a national cultural monument since 1968. It is interesting to turn the sanctuary to the north due to respecting the terrain conditions. The temple was repaired in 1922, but subsequently during the Second World War in 1944, not only the temple but also the village was severely damaged.
It is a three-space log building installed on a low stone foundation. The church tower, built of prisms, is lined with vertical slabs, connected to the mass of the building by a shingled roof topped by four-tiered domes. Similarly, the domes are above the presbytery and the nave. The dynamic stepped roof is closed by ornamentally designed baroque metal crosses. Cerkov is lined with vertical boards and conifer slats to protect against external weather influences.
The original wooden fence, in the shape of long trunks, a log block, which was called a palace in the local dialect, was no longer preserved. The church is entered through a wooden gate with a shingled roof. The iconostasis and other original decorations are missing. There are no church ceremonies performed in the church.
