Boyanski Waterfall is located near Sofia, about 5 km from the center of Boyana. It is the biggest waterfall on the territory of Vitosha mountain. The water falls from a height of 25 m. The area where the waterfall is located has preserved its nature relatively unpolluted. On clear spring days the Boyana waterfall can be seen from the center of Sofia. During the melting of the snow in the high parts of Vitosha it is the most crowded and its wild splashes differ among the forest, seen for example from the National Palace of Culture. The waterfall is the easiest to reach from Kopitoto. Depending on the pace, the walk in the scenic nature lasts about an hour and a half, with most of the path being equal. More difficult is only the last stretch that leads to the waterfall - a rough, rocky terrain that descends steeply to the waterfall on top. The other way to reach the waterfall goes along the valley of the river from Boyana and is longer but lighter.
